The Titans ended their season on August the 9th 2011 when they were informed of a technicality point that cost them a semi finals. With all the disruption the team went through in the beginning of this year with Sydney Uni reps pushing their training sessions for state champs and poaching players for their 3rd grade colts bench eventually took some of the players focus away from their usual club training sessions which ultimately cost them a teams grand finals this year.
Merryland's who came out with a strong team this year deserved to go through to the grand finals, Hawkesbury who has never beaten the Titans all season were lucky to make it due to bonus points, North Pirates who was smashed by the Titans in their last game and lost to Hills made it to the semi's and Hills who manage to steal a 2 point conversion also made it through to the semi finals. How the competition panned out was disappointing for the Titans who dominated in the last 5 seasons. That's junior rugby for you.
The last disappointing news came as a blow when the head coach's position for the team in 2012 was assigned to a Sydney Uni coach. Due to this, the Titans coaching staff will develop a new U17's team under the Eastgarden banner in 2012.
In our eyes, the Titans were undefeated as a club team and it took combined clubs to disrupt their winning streak. Remember the Titans
