It was a cold night of rugby but the Titans once again defeated Coogee 47 - 5. The forwards started off slow and unsettled in the first half which later gave the only try to Coogee. The backs also found it frustrating to play some of their moves as the opposing back line was seen off side a few times which was never called.
Coogee showed some promising runs and kicks which gave them some playing time in our half but once the Titans got their rhythm they unleashed and stamped their trademark with another win which ends the second round of the Southern District competition.
The Titans have accepted a request from the Merrylands team to a game during school holidays which is scheduled Saturday 12th July. Both teams played in trials in the beginning of the year where the Titans defeated Merrylands.
