Our Sydney Uni team truly rose to the occasion when we defeated our first game of the tournament against Manly who came 2nd last year in the grand finals. The boys overcame all obstacles with a never-say-die attitude dominating their forwards and backs.
The next two wins against Central Coast and Illawarra guaranteed us a placement to the semi finals. Our final game against Parramatta was our best game of the tournament where we stood our ground against a strong team. We lost 5 - 12.
It was an honour to coach Sydney Uni U13's this year. The boys played with their hearts and displayed true sportsmanship.
